I also tried the lock/unlock button in the center console, same thing, other 3 doors all reacted but just not the driver side door. Nitaboobmwx5 answered 5 years ago NI actually took my truck 2 bmw and it is actually the key lock itself, it controls the lock console,needless 2 say they did a temporary fix and leveled the key and the lock with the hole(confusing right) and was actually able 2 fix it so that my new key that cost me 171$,can open n lock the doors using the remote because i have to have the key hole/cylinder ordered,with parts and labor it will cost 489$,alot cheaper than i thought,i hope this helped u out a lot.
