Little help needed please.firstly.Thanks to everyone involved for their work on this. I would like to make a x86 of windows 7 pre-activated.but would also like there to be a prompt for which version.Is this possible. Can step 2+3 be ignored.does the batch file still pre-activate then?if not. Step 3 of the guide is unclear to me as it states 3. 3.If you want to install the product key via a script then place the contents of the folder 'oem_folder_key' i.e, key.vbs and SetupComplete.cmd in $OEM$ $$ SETUP SCRIPTS.the scripts will ignore the commands to intragrate the keys into install.wim. This should be used in conjunction with a custom ei.cfg to avoid OOBE asking for a key, but will make a single edition install dvd.pre-made ei.cfg's can be found in the ei.cfgs directory pick one and rename it to ei.cfg and place it in the pre-activation_kit directory. It will then be copied to the DVD.

Also could you please confrim, it says if you wish to install product key via script.?is there another way.or do I have to follow step 3.but then will this only give me one edition.ie ultimate or pro.? One final issue, if I want to make a single version ie pro.on the guide it says file name and SHA1 for 32 bit Windows 7 must be: file name: 7600.13-1255_x86fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRMCULFRER_EN_DVD.iso SHA1: 5395dc4b38f7bdb1e005ff414deedfdb16dbf610 So do I have to rename the pro iso to the above ifso where and how do I change the sha1 info.?

Click to expand.Yes.steps 2&3 are optional.even if you don't select any option and just put the correct iso's in the folder you will get a pre-activated DVD.Those options are just add-ons that people can use to customise their DVD's.well you must use ULTIMATE retail dvd's to use the script as it is.otherwise you will have to modify the script and the sha1 valuse according to the iso file that you have.you will be prompted for the three editions of windows 7 when you install windows. I am currently installing this now, however I notice it did not give me the option to install premium etc.it looks like it's a forced install of ultimate? I won't know if it has preactivated until the morning.

If I remove the ei.cfg file from the iso ( which will change the sha1 code).and the change the sha1 code accordingly in the Make_x32_DVD.cmd script. Will I then be able to choose which version I want premium etc.? What am I doing wrong? I am now pulling out my remaining hair.lol Still no good.this is what I am doing. At the mo I am running these on vista ultimate x86 I have the correct iso and have checked the sha1.it is what it should be.

Then I right click the run as admin Make_x32_DVD.cmd a cmd window appears for a split second then dissappears.It did not rebuild the iso or anything. At this point I assumed it has patched the iso. I then extracted the iso on the hard disk and put the contents onto a bootable usb stick. The ultimate loads (forced ultimate only).yet it is not activated? Even when I try the manual way and insert Hazars oem file straight into the sources folder on an untouched extracted iso still no good. Any ideas guys.?

Get the iso named '7600.13-1255_x86fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRMCULFRER_EN_DVD.iso' for x86 bit and '7600.13-1255_x64fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRMCULXFRER_EN_DVD.iso' for x64 bit 2. Check the sha1 values of the iso's that you are going to use to see whether they match with those that are posted on the first page of this thread.
